Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Awen Labs, Inc. (“slideshowss”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the slideshowss website at slideshowss.com and the slideshowss web application (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information. Your email address and, if you log in with a password, your credentials. If you log in with Google, we receive your email address and whether Google has verified it. We do not receive your Google password, contacts or any other Google data.
- Content. The guidelines, prompts, settings, reference images, brand assets, slideshow text, captions, posting schedules and per-post options you create or upload.
- Communications. Messages you send us, such as support or deletion requests.
Information from TikTok
If you choose to connect a TikTok account, TikTok shares the following with us under the permissions you approve:
- user.info.basic: your TikTok open ID (an app-specific account identifier), display name and avatar, used to show which account is connected.
- video.upload and video.publish: access and refresh tokens that let the Service upload the photo slideshows you choose to your TikTok drafts or publish them to your account.
- Creator information at posting time: your nickname, username, the visibility options TikTok allows for your account, and whether comments are available, so we can show them on the posting screen.
- Post status: whether a post you sent is processing, published or failed.
We do not access your TikTok followers, messages, likes, watch history, analytics, or videos you did not create with the Service.
Information collected automatically
- Cookies. We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in and short-lived cookies to secure the Google and TikTok sign-in flows. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Logs. Our hosting providers record standard request data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, used for security and reliability.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service: authenticate you, store your settings, generate slideshow text and images, and show your library.
- To post to TikTok on your behalf, only when you press Post or have turned on a posting schedule, using the caption, visibility and other options you selected.
- To check the status of posts you sent and show errors so you can retry.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To respond to you and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not use TikTok data for advertising, profiling, or to train AI models.
3. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Supabase — database, file storage and background processing.
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
- Anthropic and OpenAI — receive your guidelines, prompts and reference images to generate slideshow text and images. Their API terms prohibit using this data to train their models.
- Google — sign-in.
- TikTok — receives the slideshow images, caption and post settings you choose to post.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
4. Retention
- Slideshows and their images are kept until you delete them. Deleting a slideshow removes its images from our storage.
- TikTok tokens and profile details are kept while your account is connected and are deleted immediately when you disconnect in Settings.
- Account information is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
- Server logs are kept by our hosting providers for a limited period, typically no longer than 30 days.
5. Your choices and rights
- Disconnect TikTok at any time in Settings, or revoke access in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions.
- Delete content at any time from your library.
- Access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing wendcoapp@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We process personal information to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and with your consent where you connect third-party accounts. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access tokens and content are stored in a private database that is not reachable from the browser, and access is limited to systems that need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.
7. International transfers
We and our service providers are based in the United States and may process information in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect.
